About Me

I am a southern belle to the core. Born and raised in the country--Yes, I have the accent! I am very outgoing and my life's passion is meeting new people. I am very easy going and personable. I love to travel to new places on vacation and spontaneous road trips. I love to dance and sing. I love to impress folks with my mad cooking skills! I am a movie buff and will quote all my fav's on a daily basis! I love Love--I'm a hopeless romantic! Friends have often referred to me as a hibernating bear because I LOVE LOVE LOVE to sleep! I like to capture "the moment" by taking pictures. Everyone knows that I love to talk...some refer to me as "the mouth of the south." Smiling makes me feel good. I doodle, scrapbook, and paint for fun. I graduated from LSU in Shreveport with a degree in Elementary Education. I just completed my first year teaching First Grade at Timmons Elementary. I love kids. I love making learning fun! I am excited for the new school year to begin. Life has a lot to offer and I am eager to experience it all!

I'm an AUNT!

July 8, 2008 at 6:07 pm I became an aunt to the sweetest little 8lbs 5 oz baby boy, Ryan Christopher Hardey. I have had so much fun getting to know this little guy. I visit Candace on what seems like a daily basis so I can get my "baby fix." This little boy has my heart!
